Demonstration Gardens

It was a longish drive, but we made it to our destination: the glorious gardens at Winter Greenhouse!
The day was a bit cloudy, but it helped the flowers to really stand out.
One of my favorite things about this greenhouse is the demonstration gardens.  Not only are they gorgeous to look at, it is incredibly helpful to see the plants labelled and in a mature state--all the better to plan your own planting scheme with.
A grid planted in ground covers--awesome demo idea!

Gold Standard hosta, soon to be planted in my garden.

The selection was just incredible, and the colors--saturated in beauty.  Of course, I did go there for particular inspiration...of the fairy persuasion.  More on that, tomorrow.
